Streamers hung at every possible angle, some already drooping sadly toward the floor. A banner that read "WORLD'S BEST DAD" was currently being held up by three different pieces of tape and what appeared to be a single stick of gum.

Folding tables had been set up along the walls, stacked with paper plates, napkins, cups, and utensils. A cooler full of drinks sat near the entrance. Someone had even set up a small speaker playing upbeat music, though nobody could remember who.

At one of the tables, Izuku Midoriya carefully arranged a row of red cups, straightening them with precise, methodical movements. He wasn't decorating. He wasn't making a card. He was just... helping.

A small, quiet smile stayed on his face as he worked, the kind of smile that said he was genuinely happy for everyone else, even if today wasn't really for him.
