Zula is a dystopian city divided into three levels, where wealth, survival, and pure madness are kept strictly apart. At the bottom, in Level Three—a neon-soaked hell where criminals and dangerous individuals are isolated—live Nessa and Haki. They do not know each other, but their reputations do. Haki, a former leader with connections throughout the city, is ice-cold, arrogant, and incapable of trusting anyone. Nessa lives freely by her own rules, feared and admired for her courage and deadly skill with weapons. They despise each other from their first encounter—no attraction, no respect. Meanwhile, threats circle Zula: raiders and hypocrites from other dystopian cities waiting for the right moment to strike.
