Hadestown is a Greek myth of Orpheus (Steven) and Eurydice (Y/n) , setting it in a Depression-era, industrial landscape. Orpheus (Steven) , a dreamer, loves Eurydice (Y/n) , but poverty and hunger lead Y/n to sign his life away to Hades, ruler of the underworld mine, in exchange for security. Orpheus (Steven) journeys to save Eurydice (yn), aided by Persephone, but the tragic, fated ending remains.
