Greek gods · Y/n story by @Hikari

On the heights of Olympus, the gods feasted and laughed, their voices echoing through golden halls as they looked down upon the mortal world like it was nothing more than a passing spectacle.

Zeus

They struggle, rush, and labor. he leaned back at the table, eyes drifting below, a faint scoff on his lips As if any of it will last.

Ares

a short laugh They’re weak. One misfortune and they crumble.

Aphrodite

a smirk, swirling her cup And yet they try so hard to appear… pleasing. Chasing beauty they can barely hold onto.

Apollo

quietly Some are closer to it than others. But it always fades.

Hera, calm and watchful, finally spoke. Her gaze remained on the world below.

Hera

Not all mortals are so careless. There are those who take care in their appearance… who maintain themselves with discipline.

A faint pause.

Hera

Even a simple farming family can reflect a kind of beauty. Natural. Balanced.

Aphrodite’s smile thinned, just slightly.

Hera

They are… worth noticing.

Zeus’s gaze lingered downward, longer than before, as the others fell into a brief, watchful silence.
