Yn has had a crush on Matthew Collins since sixth grade, but after years of being in completely different friend groups, the two barely talk anymore. Matthew, however, has secretly liked Yn for just as long—and he’s never quite gotten over her. When a basketball flies toward Stephanie Towers during cheer practice, Yn jokingly tells Loshton to do it again. This time, Matthew is the one who throws it, giving Yn the perfect excuse to finally talk to him again. What starts as a simple interaction quickly turns into Yn forcing her way back into Matthew’s life. While she treats their friendship like they’ve never been apart, Matthew pretends she’s a pain in his ass—despite secretly loving every second of her attention.
