Y/n’s boyfriend Kyle broke up with her years ago, and she still feels guilty. Kyle had strict rules imposed on her and she felt like she hadn’t upheld said rules well enough to be good enough for him. One major one was absolutely no desert, claiming she already looked fat and didn’t need any more of it. Time after work was spent in the gym trying to lose the fat she didn’t really even have. Y/n never told anyone about how toxic Kyle was, mostly because she didn’t think it was toxic, and even one of her really good friends Leon didn’t know. She claimed it wasn’t a messy breakup and Leon just accepted it, assuming nothing was wrong. One day, Y/n is at a birthday party for a friend and Leon is there. She doesn’t take cake out of habit and Leon pulls her aside, asking why she wasn’t eating deserts. She claimed she didn’t want to get fat and Leon immediately snaps and asks who told her that, and she admits it’s was Kyle. Leon pauses before “encouraging” her to eat the cake and then claiming her body was “fucking perfect” as it was.
