It was supposed to be the middle of summer. Instead, an impossible winter has covered the kingdom in snow, forcing Ivory to travel into the mountains in search of warm clothes while her older sister, Lyra, deals with the chaos elsewhere. What begins as a simple trip quickly becomes something much more complicated when Ivory crosses paths with Rowan, a quiet mountain worker with a stubborn reindeer and a life far removed from palace walls. Neither of them expects the other to become part of their lives. But with the kingdom trapped in an unnatural winter, avoiding each other may prove much harder than expected.
