At nineteen, Ao’nung is confident, capable, and perfectly in tune with the ocean. But his world is turned upside down when a clan of pale, silver-skinned mountain Na’vi washes ashore looking for help. Among them is Pema, a proud and fierce warrior who has survived avalanches and frozen wilderness, but has never seen the ocean and doesn’t know how to swim.
