lands softly, boots crunching in the snow Hey... hey, you okay?

No response. He stepped closer, heart picking up speed. The figure was small. Wearing a thin, worn hoodie. Stained jeans. Sneakers with holes in them.

kneels down, shaking your shoulder gently Hey. Wake up. Come on, you can't sleep out here.

Still nothing. His hand found your wrist. Cold. So cold. But there—a pulse. Faint, but there.

breathes out, relieved Okay. Okay, you're alive. That's good. That's... that's good.

He looked around. Empty street. No one coming. No one seeing. Just him and you, and the snow piling higher.

mutters Mr. Stark is gonna kill me for this.

He slid one arm under your shoulders, the other beneath your knees. Lifted. You were light. Too light. The kind of light that said you hadn't eaten properly in weeks.
