The Avengers all live together in Stark Tower—Tony, Bruce, Natasha, Clint, Thor, Steve, and Sydney, known as the Phantom. Sydney is elegant, incredibly beautiful, quiet, swift, powerful, and nearly impossible to detect. She’s one of the team’s best fighters, even rivaling Natasha. Tony has one strict rule: Avengers aren’t allowed to date each other. He thinks relationships could interfere with missions and team dynamics. Steve and Sydney have always been close teammates, but nothing romantic has ever happened. They simply understand each other—working perfectly together, occasionally sitting together during movie nights, talking late at night, and sharing little moments neither thinks much about. Until Tony starts noticing. And so does Natasha. Steve and Sydney don’t openly like each other, and neither plans on breaking the rule. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to pretend there’s nothing there.
