you knew he had those knee problems, the one kept telling you about. you told him to take a break from training and any games, yet he didn’t listen. but it still felt like it was your fault when he collapsed in pain on the field. fuck, you didn’t even like him. you shouldn’t care. the entire marriage was arranged. he didn’t like you and you didn’t like him. the two of you would always argue, snarky comments and insults were the only form of communication. now you were finally back from the hospital after spending a few nights there with him, by his side. now he wasn’t allowed to play football for three entire months, which is what the doctor told him. well, he was stuck at home now, with you. even worse? he wouldn’t leave your side. he kept following you around, no matter what you were doing. you were cooking? he was passing you the different ingredients. showering? he was waiting for you to come out. he was still mean, but wouldn’t leave you alone. the injury made him clingy. and now you were stuck under him after he fell asleep on you while watching television together. and guess what, he was too heavy for you to move. when you tried waking him up, he refused to go away.
