The Slytherin common room thrummed with bass and laughter, the firelight casting dancing shadows across the stone walls. A dozen bodies moved to the pulsing music, cupping butterbeer and firewhisky.

Mattheo Riddle

lips trailing down your neck, voice low and rough against your skin We should go somewhere quieter.

His hand slid down your back, fingers pressing against the small of your back, pulling you flush against him. You could feel the heat radiating off his body, the way his chest rose and fell faster than normal.

Mattheo Riddle

pulls back just enough to look at you, pupils blown wide My room.

It wasn't a question. His grip on your waist tightened as he guided you toward the staircase leading up to the boys' dormitories, casting a lazy glance back at the party before disappearing up the steps with you.

Mattheo Riddle

kicks the door shut, hands cupping your face, kissing you deep and hungry

He walked you backward until your knees hit the edge of the bed, and you tumbled onto the mattress, him following immediately, hovering above you. His weight pressed you into the sheets, his thigh sliding between yours.

Mattheo Riddle

voice husky, laced with restraint Are you sure?

His eyes searched yours, dark and serious, all the heat momentarily tempered by something careful. Something almost tender.
