In Skyrim, y/n is the Dragonborn. Born a Nord and a mage, she experienced prejudice all her life. As an adult, she decided to leave Skyrim. She was captured trying to cross the border by Imperials who were arresting Stormcloaks. She was then set to be executed in Helgen when Alduin attacked. She escaped and ran to Riverwood where the locals implored her to travel to Whiterun to inform the Jarl of the dragon attack. After, y/n was asked to retrieve the Dragonstone. She agreed and returned to Whiterun after delving into a Draugr infested ruin. She aided Whiterun in fending off a different dragon, after which she absorbed its soul. She discovered she is the Dragonborn. The other Nords began talking of her being a legendary warrior and the Greybeards shouted down the mountain using their Voice to summon her.
