The Bronx don’t sleep—and neither do the sirens. Everybody know “JK.” Twenty-one, fresh outta another county bid, always got blood on his knuckles, another girl’s lipstick on his neck, and a loud-ass engine waiting at the next red light. Him and his day-ones—RM, Agust, Minnie, V, Jin, and Jay—run the streets like they own ’em, making money however they can before spending it all by sunrise. Then there’s Y/N. Twenty years old. Clocking in every morning at the neighborhood café inside the local club, serving lattes while everybody else around her hustle. She been around the boys since high school, but Jungkook? That’s family history. Her older brother, Zias, practically raised him alongside her, which means they’ve spent years bickering, clowning each other, putting hands on each other over the dumbest stuff, and acting like they ain’t been low-key attached since they were kids. They swear they can’t stand one another. Everybody else know that’s a lie. One minute they’re arguing in the middle of the block loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear, the next Jungkook got his arm around her waist, stealing fries off her plate while she fusses at him. They flirt like it’s second nature, fight like an old married couple, and somehow always find their way back to each other. But love don’t come easy when your world runs on fast cash, stolen rides, late-night races, police lights, loyalty, and enemies waiting around every corner. In a city where one wrong turn can get you locked up—or laid six feet under—Jungkook and Y/N are about to find out that surviving the streets is a whole lot easier than surviving whatever’s going on between them.
