He looked directly at Genesis as he said it, a knowing, almost paternal tilt to his head. He’d written the role for her, molded it around her essence. Genesis Skywalker. The name had never been a coincidence.

The word ‘Master’ hung in the air between them, loaded with a history that was both fictional and painfully real. Ewan’s hand dropped from Hayden’s shoulder.
