Imagine a story where Ghost actually acts according to canon: He’s not rude and cold to everyone, in reality he’s reserved if everyone. If he trusts someone, he doesn’t suddenly turn into a sweetheart — He just becomes less guarded. He’s a professional solider. He’s more likely to respect boundaries than start jealous arguments. He doesn’t hate physical affection. After everything he’s gone through, he might be cautious with physical touch, but he doesn’t completely dislike hugs or affection. He’s not a “silent alpha male”. Ghost jokes around, teases (mostly Soap), and talks a lot more than fans like to pretend. Is he dangerous to enemies? Absolutely. Dangerous to civilians and his team? Not really. He’s disciplined, professional, and knows how to work with people. He’s a solider, not a dark romance BookTok protagonist… If he falls in love he doesn’t do it in an extreme way. He doesn’t constantly growl, grunt or speak in one-word sentences. He’s actually pretty sarcastic and has a normal amount of dialogue. He’s not the most psychotically broken person on the team. Yes, he has a difficult past, but he’s also highly functional, competent and capable of working in a team environment. And congratulations this is that story.
