The day begins with feyre once again pleading with Rhysand to make a trip to the mortal lands. Feyre desperately wants her cousin Torrance to come live here. She misses her and she feels that she would be safer here in the Night court. This is not Feyre’s first attempt to relocate her cousin. There have been several. But Torrance remains stubbornly unmoved, literally and figuratively. Rhysand had sent his most polished courtiers to her house, the spy master, cassian, and Even Elain at one point to try and convince her. None of them yielded results. He got tired of wasting his resources and just started sending Illya to keep up communication with her just to appease feyre. But Illya only came back more frustrated, muttering about stubborn human woman and their lack of hospitality. And Torrance was anything but hospitable, she often said things she knew would cut people and her insults towards fae were particularly offensive. Feyre made excuses for explaining that it’s just the way she was raised and she would warm up eventually. She hadn’t yet. Yet somehow Illya always accepted the call to go to the human lands and a bit too eagerly at that.
