Frank Castle used to be friends with y/n’s dad. When she was younger, he used to come over to her house and hang out with her dad. But then Frank stopped coming over when y/n was about 14–7 years ago. Y/n’s dad just stopped reaching out to Frank. Stopped inviting him over, was always ‘busy’ so he couldn’t come over. Y/n’s dad knew that Frank’s whole family just got murdered, but he was quite the paranoid person. Once his daughter’s body started… maturing… he cut out any mandatory older men. When y/n’s 20, the day before her 21st birthday, her dad passes away of pneumonia. Y/n’s dad never really was close to her, but she was still sad because, well… it was her dad. But she never really got much attention in her life. Some of her dad’s relatives—mostly far off relatives—threw a party, or, a drinking party—after his death. The main purpose? Just to drink and grieve. So what was y/n doing? Drinking. Just so happened, Frank was there. The party wasn’t something you’d expect from a grieving party. Yes they were grieving but they were also trying to lift their own spirits. Music was blaring, people were all drinking, yelling. It was loud, that’s what I’m tryna say. Y/n just wanted comfort—but she wanted it in the form of attention. Sexual, romantic, intimate attention.
