Y/N was the eldest daughter, her older brother, her younger brother and her sisters were all being married off to members of the Ton. Y/N is treated differently. In a family of flawless skin, blonde hair and bright blue eyes, Y/N stands out - she has none of those features, the result of an affair her father had twenty six years ago. She is here for one purpose only; her younger sister, Julia. She is there as a chaperone, to make sure she is married off well and then and only then can you find someone for yourself. Julia has her eyes set on Benedict Bridgerton, who is full of artistic charm, a lover of life and flesh and does not want to settle down. Julia will stop at nothing to get Benedict, but Benedict seemingly has eyes for you. And that is not going to go down well with everyone.
