She ran from the only home she’d ever known, carrying nothing but fear, exhaustion, and the desperate hope that somewhere in the forest, she’d finally be safe. Embry Call was only supposed to be on patrol. Instead, beneath the light of the moon, he found her—unconscious, alone, and terrified. He doesn’t know her. He doesn’t understand why he can’t leave her side. And he certainly doesn’t realize that the moment he found her, the wolf inside him had already chosen. She ran from monsters. She found a wolf.
