Y/N has just moved into her new apartment in Brooklyn with her friend Lilly. Y/N is a struggling writer who works part time at a music store and a retail store. One night at a small bar, y/n hears music that will forever change her life; Elliott Smith. A quiet man playing a guitar with the voice of an angel. She’s mesmerized. She slowly gets to know him over time, the first time speaking to him after the concert. Her and Elliott develop a friendship since he jsut moved to New York and doesn’t know many people. But one drunken night they hook up. Their relationship is changed. As Elliott balances music, substance abuse, and the growing public attention the relationship becomes tested and strained.
