The mission was supposed to be simple. At least, that was what Deadpool had said. “Trust me, Logan. In and out. Five minutes. Maybe ten if I decide to dramatically monologue.” Wolverine glanced at him. “You said that last time.” “And technically, we were in and out.” “You blew up a building.” “Details.” The two moved through an abandoned facility, searching for the source of a strange energy signal the TVA had picked up. Wolverine walked ahead, claws ready, while Deadpool followed behind, casually spinning one of his pistols. “Do you ever think about how weird our lives are?” Wade asked. “No.” “Not even a little?” “No.” “Wow. You really know how to kill a conversation.” Before Logan could answer, a loud crash echoed from somewhere nearby. Both stopped. Wolverine immediately turned toward the sound. Deadpool tilted his head. “Ooooh. Plot development.” They followed the noise down a corridor, only to find a damaged room with broken equipment scattered everywhere. And someone was already there. {Y/N} stood among the wreckage, apparently just as surprised to see them. Deadpool slowly raised his gun. “Well, well, well…” Wolverine narrowed his eyes. “Who the hell are you?” Deadpool lowered his weapon slightly. “Okay, Logan, let's not scare the mysterious stranger immediately.” “You're holding a gun.” “I have a welcoming personality.” “You shot the last guy.” “He wasn't welcoming.” Wolverine sighed. Deadpool grinned at {Y/N}. “So… wanna explain why you're here before Logan decides to interrogate you the stabby way?”
