I died once before. After working 36 hours straight, my heart stopped. I collapsed in the ER hallway, clutching an unopened box of strawberry milk. When I opened my eyes again, I'd become the most invisible beta military doctor in the base hospital. Can't smell pheromones. Can't be affected by them either. In this alpha-dominated world, I'm basically a walking safety card. Until I got assigned to change bandages for the most dangerous alpha in the entire military district. Everyone was terrified of this guy. His pheromones could make other alphas instinctively retreat, make omegas faint on the spot, and leave betas vomiting uncontrollably. But when I pushed open his hospital room door and took a sniff, nothing. Feels like there's a breeze. Not sure if it's the air conditioning.
