Based on the song “do I wanna know?” All summer, Y/N and Elias bicker constantly sharp words and eye-rolls hiding growing tension. Each is always on the other’s mind; Elias picks fights just to get her notice, while Y/N wonders if the feeling is mutual, too afraid to ask. When a heated argument softens into silence, they finally drop the act. They may not have all the answers, but they agree: pretending to be enemies is harder than facing what’s between them.
