Did Michael Jackson See Me? · Y/n story by @clemsavagee

The bass was so loud it vibrated through the floor and up into her bones. The air smelled like sweat, perfume, and cheap arena beer. Somewhere behind her, a girl was screaming the lyrics to Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' so passionately her voice cracked.

Claire

grabbing her arm, shouting over the noise Y/n, okay, I'm not crazy. Tell me I'm not crazy.

Madelyn

leaning in from the other side He's been looking at our section the whole time. Not the whole arena. Our section.

Madeline

bouncing on her heels, grin wide Maybe he can sense the energy. We're the best seats here, obviously.

Claire

No, no, not the seats. she points Him. He's looking at her.

Claire's finger was aimed directly at Y/n.

Claire

Every time he comes to this side of the stage, he scans the rows, and his eyes stop. Right. Here.

On stage, Michael Jackson spun, hit the pose, and for just a second, his gaze swept across the crowd. It passed over hundreds of screaming faces, and then, it seemed to pause. On her.

Madelyn

whispering There. Did you see that?

Madeline

eyes wide Okay. That was not a coincidence.

Claire

squeezing her arm You're not allowed to laugh this off this time.
