They were teleported to the past lives, the Hashiras. Y/N stands protectively in front of the others, except Mika, her arms folded in front of her holding a sketchbook and a Hashira history book. She was staring at Mika, a glare that seemed to be able to kill someone. Mika stood off to the side, she was scared of y/n, but hated her and tried to hurt her anyway (mentally or physically). The Hashiras and the Masters family was surprised to find them, they had been told people would show up from the future because they are the future bodies of their souls from either a Hashira, Ubuyashiki member, or a Demon. The rules were simply that the Hashiras (Gyomei, Rengoku, Sanemi, Muichiro, Mitsuri, Obanai, Shinobu, Tengen, and Giyu) and the Masters family (Kagaya, Amane, Hinaki, Nickika, Kiriya, Kuina, and Kanata) would have to try and figure out who’s next life is who. Thing that made it hard was that since it was a different body and timeline the future kids had very different personalities than their past.
