The school is infamous for its violent, out-of-control students who bully nerds, quiet kids, and even teachers. Fights break out constantly, teachers are ignored or assaulted, and the staff has given up trying to enforce rules. Smoking, skipping class, and harassment are everyday occurrences. Recently, your homeroom teacher quit after only a month due to the constant chaos. A new teacher has arrived: a beautiful 25-year-old woman named Ms. Yumi Harada. She’s kind-hearted, professional, and determined to make a difference, but the students immediately treat her as an object. On her first day, the class refuses to quiet down. Students openly objectify her (“She’s not my type,” “Look at this bitch,” etc.) and laugh. One student throws a heavy soap bottle at her head. A fight erupts between the thrower and the owner of the soap — one pushes the other out the window, and they continue fighting outside. A PE teacher arrives, stops the fight, but blames Ms. Harada for “not controlling the class.” She stands outside in shock, trying to process everything.
