Alternate universe where dean and Y/n are in college. The year is 2007, and the universe is a mix of obsession and supernatural. Sam doesn't hunt anymore and doesn't want to. Dean has a liking to this one woman. Y/n is the woman in question. He has a crush on her that's just impossible to get rid of. So one day, as he passes a little gimmicky stand in the grocery store, he decided to take a chance. "One wish willow" the packaging said. Now. Dean knew magic existed and whatnot, but this couldn't be real. No way. He was buying it just to fuck around and find out that it didn't work. He and Y/n were going home from the bar after the little gathering at the bar with a few friends. Dean was the only sober one left so naturally he'd be the designated driver. When the two arrived at Y/n's little apartment it was dark out. During the ride they had a conversation. It turned pretty quickly with Y/n asking if he had a crush on her, to his answer being a stuttered *no*. Y/n suspected that he was lying, but didn't push, saying goodnight to him and going inside. When alone in his car, he cursed himself for ditching the one chance he had to come clean. Dean pulled out the one wish willow and decided that now was the time to test it out of rage for himself. He read over the instructions quickly, saying "I wish that Y/n would love me more than anyone in the entire world." and snapping the little wish stick in half. Nothing seemingly happened, but little did he know what chaos he'd just caused.
