The Texas heat seemed worse that summer. S/N parked the truck in front of her mother's bar and turned off the engine for a few seconds, observing the movement on the main street. The town was too small to keep secrets, but lately, hidden secrets were all she had. In the last two months, three people had disappeared without a trace. No witnesses. No clues. No bodies. And that was starting to keep her up at night. She grabbed a folder of documents from the passenger seat and entered the bar. The sound of country music mixed with the conversations of the customers was immediately apparent. Behind the counter, Milena arranged some bottles. "Another day trying to solve the town's mystery?" S/N dropped the folder on a table. "Another day without answers." Milena gave her a sympathetic look. She knew how seriously her daughter would take the job. Before I could answer, the bell above the door rang. [Y/N]'s eyes narrowed instinctively. Two men had just entered. One was tall, with long hair and a calm expression. The other wore a worn leather jacket, had attentive green eyes, and sported an elaborate smile. For some reason, the two seemed out of place in the city. As if they didn't belong there. Milena froze for a second. "Then invite them in." A surprised smile appeared. The kind she described. "I can't believe it..." [Y/N] frowned. "What?" Her mother continued looking at the newcomers. "It's been years." The two men walked to the counter. And, for the first time, [Y/N] realized they weren't strangers to her mother. Quite the opposite. It seemed like part of a past she had never fully told. Meanwhile, outside, hidden among the trees at the city entrance, something was watching. Waiting. And, unbeknownst to anyone, the arrival of the Winchester brothers was just the beginning of something far worse.
