Daryl had volunteered to babysit Judith for the day while Rick and Michonne went out on a supply run. He found himself surprisingly enjoying the experience of taking care of the baby, and by the end of the day, he was feeling like he had caught a case of "baby fever". That night, Daryl couldn't stop thinking about the thought of having a baby of his own. He tried to distract himself, but the idea was always there in the back of his mind. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and decided to act on it.
