The forest had always been honest with you. It never pretended to care, never lied, never hid its teeth beneath a smile.
You’d finished a good hunt—enough meat to last two, maybe three days. Your boots knew every root and hollow for miles. The katana sat warm against your hip, familiar as breath.

???

Rick Grimes

Glenn Rhee

Michonne
quiet, steady She doesn’t need it.
Daryl Dixon
studying you, voice low Nah. She don’t.
<Narrator> The quiet stretches. The gate looms in the twilight. Your choice.
