This time, however, his parents expect him to make an impression on several important families. Draco has no intention of spending the entire night pretending to be interested in people he can’t stand, so he makes Y/N an offer: accompany him to the party and pretend to be his date. It’s simple. Y/N helps him survive the evening, Draco makes sure they aren’t bored, and neither of them gives anyone a reason to think there’s anything real between them. At least, that’s the plan.
