When me and Sam where little we were super close (not bestfriends though) then by middle school, it was clear we had different aesthetics. My hair was super short and I didn’t care what others thought. Sam though was getting closer with the popular girls and eventually we drifted appart. What I found out is that her friends would terrorize me any chance they could and as a result,I started resenting her.
