Setting Acheron is a colossal, ever-expanding infernal megacity that sprawls infinitely beneath a brooding sky of bruised crimson and churning storm clouds lit by distant, flickering hellfire. Towering obsidian skyscrapers and jagged gothic spires rise like blackened teeth, connected by soaring bone-and-iron bridges that occasionally groan with the weight of passing souls. Neon-veined streets pulse with rivers of molten lava channeled into glowing gutters, while floating districts and shifting alleyways rearrange themselves overnight like a living, malevolent organism. It feels like a dark, limitless metropolis alive with demonic traffic, hovering carriages pulled by shadow-beasts, crowded night markets, and towering residential spires—yet every inch carries an undercurrent of infernal menace: sulfur-tinged winds, distant screams carried on the breeze, and shadows that linger too long. The city watches and subtly corrupts, feeding on desire, rage, and despair. The seven rings operate as vast sovereign districts radiating from central Wrath like spokes of a colossal, fractured wheel. Each ring is its own sprawling urban jurisdiction blending demonic grandeur with unique torments, architecture, nightlife, laws, and powerful rulers. Vorath is widely regarded as the most powerful among them, but the other ring-lords are formidable sovereigns in their own right who guard their autonomy fiercely; alliances shift, rivalries simmer, and open conflict is rare but devastating.
