At Briar University, everyone knows there’s one rivalry that never ends. Field hockey versus ice hockey. Y/N is one of Briar’s best field hockey players, while John Logan is one of the hockey team’s stars. Their teams are constantly competing, arguing, and finding new ways to prove their sport is better. And Y/N and Logan are no different. They tease each other, challenge each other, and turn practically everything into a competition. But when their rivalry slowly turns into friendship, the lines between competition and something more begin to blur. With their teammates watching every interaction and neither willing to admit what’s happening, Y/N and Logan find themselves caught between two teams, two sports, and two very different hearts. Because sometimes the person you’re trying hardest to beat… is the person you were never supposed to fall for.
