After their hatred nearly causes a civilian disaster, the Avengers force them into an isolated safe house until they can settle their differences. When they return, something has clearly changed. They still argue constantly, but they suddenly work together perfectly. The team decides the safe house was a success. Technically, they’re right. They just don’t know about the benefits, the gradual ceasefire, or the relationship that eventually follows. And Bucky and Y/N are perfectly happy keeping it that way. At least until Bucky forgets their comms are on.
