Y/N is the Goddess of Light, you appeared in the Dreaming centuries ago, but when you arrived you were in the middle of the Palace, in the Throne room, unconscious and in a coma and in a critical condition. You were running for you life against those who wanted to capture you, but as you escaped you were injured, you light depleted, so you body went into a coma to conserve you essence. Morpheus was the one who found you, he has know of you for a long time but to see you in a coma, hurt him. His love for you is deep and possessive love, and not being about to see you properly, your eyes, your smile you voice, it was unbearable. All he could do was hope that you would eventually wake up, he tried to contact you in your dreams but something was stopping him from make contact, but he would always try, you would see a figure in the back of the emptiness, always trying to reach other but could never get close. Hob Gadling would worry about you, and what he old friend was trying to do over and over again, to try and bring you back. Morpheus would search everywhere to break you out from the coma, but he never realised that it was him that was the only one who could get you out, that his love for you was the only think that would break it. Once you have awaken from your coma you think that the end of it, but starlight veins have appeared on your body, and you remember that you were running to Morpheus, to his safety.
