Y/n and Leo Valdez are sent on a quest that should have been simple: retrieve a stolen artifact and make it back to Camp Half-Blood. But after days of monsters, exhaustion, and getting hopelessly lost, they stumble across the Halcyon Hotel, a mysterious place built specifically for demigods. With nowhere else to go, they decide to stay the night. What they don't expect is for the hotel to hold secrets of its own, or for spending so much time together to make their already complicated friendship feel a little different. Between monsters, ancient secrets, and one very suspicious hotel, Y/n and Leo may discover that the hardest part of the quest isn't surviving it. It's figuring out what happens when they finally make it home.
