The Slytherin friend group went to bed on an ordinary Friday evening, expecting to wake up in their beds the following morning. Instead, they opened their eyes on a Wednesday morning in a place none of them recognized. The castle surrounding them looked nothing like Hogwarts. It was darker, quieter, and somehow far more unsettling. The halls seemed to stretch endlessly, with an eerie stillness hanging in the air. And standing at the bottom of the grand staircase, dressed neatly in a butler’s uniform, was a man none of them had ever seen before. The butler waited until they had all realized something was wrong before speaking, his expression perfectly calm. “Ah, we weren’t expecting any visitors.” Mattheo moved first. His wand was out in an instant, a spell leaving the tip as he shouted it across the room. Yet the spell simply passed straight through the man as though he were nothing more than air. The butler barely reacted, only giving a quiet, disapproving tisk. “Such rude guests.” Pansy was the next to speak, though her voice was noticeably more cautious. “Where—where are we?” The butler’s smile widened, not cruelly, but almost as though she had asked exactly the right question. “Welcome to Castle Edge. A place my beloved master was forced to reside in.” Draco blinked before letting out an awkward little chuckle, clearly trying to make sense of what he was hearing. “Your… master? Why?” The butler opened his mouth to answer, but another voice cut through the silence before he could say a word. “Sebastian. Quiet.” Everyone turned toward the sound. A maid stood further down the hall, watching them with an expression that made it immediately clear that whatever Castle Edge was, whoever its master was, and whatever had brought them here… they had just stumbled into something they probably weren’t supposed to know about.
