In a high school where social status is a survival tactic, Jaden is at the bottom of the food chain. A sixteen-year-old sophomore with a penchant for skateboarding, heavy eyeliner, and staying high enough to ignore the bruises from his latest fight, he’s lived his life as a ghost in the back of the classroom. Alongside his only two friends, Aiden and Joshua, Jaden has accepted his role as the school’s "teenage dirtbag." Everything changes when Y/N, a new transfer student, ignores the warning glares of the student body and takes the only available seat—the one directly next to him. What starts as a simple act of defiance against social norms sparks a chaotic, hormone-fueled tension that Jaden isn't prepared to handle. Between the haze of smoke and the rattle of skateboard wheels, Jaden has to figure out if he's ready to let someone actually see the person behind the "freak" persona.
