Y/n is twelve. She lives in a bottom floor flat with her mum and brother who are never there. She has been bullied at school for months on end. Upstairs are the Avian family, the mum, Rachel, the dad, Aaron, the eldest son, Archie, and the little sister, Amiah. One day, after school, a group of y/ns bullies follow her home, leaving her no choice but to run to the people she trusts, the Avians. The group of bullies had already given y/n a black eye, calling her insults as they chase her (like "slag", "bitch" and "two faced cunt") y/n runs Upstairs, bursting into the Avians flat, crying, finding only archie in, the girls still following her and waiting outside of the door. Archie holds y/n for a minute, kissing the top of her head and calling her "baby" before going outside to find out why the girls were chasing y/n and to make them leave.
