The story opens with Y/N, Theodore Nott's younger sister, already established at Beauxbatons. Despite a year-and-a-half age gap, they're only a year apart in school, meaning Y/N is heading into her fifth year while Theodore is already there. This separation means Y/N has never met Theodore's close-knit group of friends, including his best mate, Draco Malfoy.
