(following the cannon plot of the 2023 movie “bottoms”, same characters, but aged up to college) follows a pair of lesbian best friends, PJ Mitchell and Josie Marks, as they accidentally stumble into a plan that can make them both popular at their college and win over their crushes, the statuesque Brittany Hobart for PJ and the petite Isabel Beale for Josie. Isabel is in a tumultuous relationship with the school’s hunky and horny quarterback, Jeff Swanson, whose close, overprotective second-in-command, Tim Phunk, makes for an unexpected adversary. By chance, PJ and Josie team up with another outcast classmate, Hazel Callahan, and Mr. G , a teacher going through his own personal crisis, to start a fight club/self-defense class with less-than-zero qualifications to protect themselves against a rival school and learn to stand up for themselves. karissa, also a cheerleader, but more introverted than her cheermates, she prefers reading and drawing to partying , decides to join the club for shits and giggles, and hazel quickly develops a crush on her.
