she is the daughter of a scientist on pandora. he decided as he didn’t want to be away from his family for the near definite future, he’d just move them all to pandora with him. he is max patel, he works with norm in the forrest where jake’s clan live. she grew up practically having spider as her adoptive brother, although it’s clear he likes the sully’s more than her and her parents. not that she minds. she stays in the lab most of the time, however sometimes she will venture out, only really with spider as he acts more na’vi than her, his clothing, the way he moves, everything. he’s practically a na’vi stuck in a human body. she isn’t. she’s just a normal girl living in an alien planet. she doesn’t have that deep connection to the sully kids like spider does, but she doesn’t mind too much. she can have polite conversation with them all. she talks to neteyam mostly, he’s the most friendly to her. when she goes out into the forrest her and spider will often end up split up, him with lo’ak, kiri and tuk, and her with neteyam. they do get on quite well, and the more they hang out the stronger their bond gets. she teaches him things from earth, like her phone, why she dresses as she does, why she wears shoes, all sorts, and he teacher her na’vi things, like the language, their songs, how and why their so deeply connected to nature, he helps her experience and strengthen her relationship to it as well as trying to teach her na’vi as she tries to teach him human slang and phrases that he doesn’t already know. could the whole, species difference not be a problem? could they fall for eachother?
