The Hogwarts Express rattled along the tracks, its wheels clacking a steady rhythm against the rails. Warm afternoon sunlight streamed through the compartment windows, catching dust motes dancing in the air.

Ginny Weasley

grinning as she shoved the compartment door open There you are! We've been looking everywhere for you. Why didn't you save us seats?

Ron Weasley

ducking in behind her, his face slightly flushed from hauling his trunk down the corridor Yeah, we had to sit with some first-year who kept asking if Harry was really the Boy Who Lived. It was dead awkward.

Harry Potter

appearing in the doorway, a small smile tugging at his lips Ron, you literally told him yes and asked if he wanted an autograph.

Ron Weasley

his ears turning pink Well—it was good practice for him! Famous people sign things all the time.

Hermione Granger

squeezing past them into the compartment, her bushy hair escaping its bun as always Honestly, Ron. You can't just—she stops, her eyes landing on the empty seat across from you Oh. You've been saving this whole compartment?

Ginny Weasley

sliding onto the seat beside you, her eyes bright with curiosity So. Who exactly are we waiting for?

The compartment door slid shut with a soft click, muffling the corridor's noise. Outside, the Scottish countryside rolled past in patches of green—but inside, four pairs of eyes fixed on you, waiting for an answer.
