BAU had finally found the place of a kidnapper, they were outside the door, the place was surrounded. When the door opened, a girl, 12 years old stepped out looking terrified. Y/n who was standing by Hotch, moved without thinking, y/n ran up the rest of the driveway to grab the girl. Y/N was given any orders to move, it surprised Hotch, Rossi, Spencer, Motch, and everyone else. Y/N wasn't the type to move without orders, she followed orders, rules, she didn't disobey them. But when y/n saw the 9 year old girl come out of that house, it brought a memory back. Nobody from BAU knew that when y/n was a child she was abused, they just knew that she always protected kids, ALWAYS, even when she wasn't on the job. If it involved children, y/n was there. Y/N was the happy, hardworking, hardheaded, clumsy but strong, always helping, observant girl.
