Seven boys sat circled around the low table in the middle of the room. Monopoly had been abandoned an hour ago after Hyunjin accused Changbin of hiding money under his thigh.

Chan stepped over Han's legs and disappeared down the hallway. The bathroom door clicked shut.
The room settled into easy noise. Lee Know dealt cards, Hyunjin complained about his hand, Felix offered to order drinks.
Then it happened.
Chan's phone, still on the floor, lit up with a notification from some weather app.
The lock screen glowed.
It was a photo. A girl asleep on a bare chest, just below a collarbone. She was wearing an oversized black hoodie. Chan's hoodie. Her face was soft, peaceful.
The screen dimmed. Then lit again as another notification came through. Another photo. The same girl laughing, hair messy, wearing his hat. Another. Her hand holding his, their fingers intertwined.
Han noticed first. He stopped sorting his cards. Stared.
