𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ ANY POV 𐙚 Bucky Barnes never intended to get attached. When Steve asks Bucky to keep an eye on Y/N while he’s away, Bucky agrees without much thought. It’s supposed to be temporary—just making sure Y/N gets home safely, reminding them about training, and being there if they need anything. Except Bucky starts looking forward to seeing Y/N. Then he starts noticing the little things: when Y/N is tired, when they’re unusually quiet, what makes them laugh, and exactly where they like to sit in the common room. Before long, Bucky is finding excuses to stay around them longer, quietly checking whether they’ve eaten, saving them a seat, and automatically looking for Y/N whenever he walks into a room. He keeps telling himself it’s nothing. But everyone else at the Tower can see it. Bucky Barnes is getting attached to Y/N—and he has absolutely no idea what to do about it.
