On Pandora, humans from Earth, part of the Resources Development Administration (RDA), aim to mine the valuable mineral unobtanium. They are willing to destroy the Na’vi’s land to achieve this. The Na’vi are the native people: tall, blue-skinned humanoids who live in harmony with nature and are deeply connected to their spiritual force, Eywa, which they see as the living network of all life on Pandora.
