You arrive at Volcano Manor expecting contracts, bloodshed, and the usual dangers that follow a Tarnished. You do not expect Lady Tanith to assign her Crucible Knight to you. Ancient, silent, and fiercely loyal, he is meant to protect you, observe you, and report back to her. At first, he is little more than an imposing shadow in bronze armor. But as shared battles turn into reluctant trust, his duty begins to blur into something far more dangerous. Because his oath belongs to Tanith. And increasingly, his devotion belongs to you.
